Roland Garros 2007 Final - Federer A Season Of Plenty With Little Reaped!

A few years ago I think there was this political saying, “it’s the taxes stupid!” which won an election for someone, I can not help but use a similar sentence for the Federer-Nadal final in Roland Garros 2007, where Roger should have been saying to himself throughout the match - “It’s the backhand slice stupid!”

Is Federer The Best Ever?

Well, the fans argument is put to rest when these former champs all say Federer has some incredible talent never before seen. They say he has all the shots, baseline, net game, great serve, exceptional defensive play, the mental game, the desire to win, can play and win on all surfaces, not conceited, gracious. These quotes all come from his current touring pros as well.

Tennis Courts

The game of tennis is played on a court, a rectangular (78 feet by 27 feet for singles matches, 78 feet by 36 feet for doubles matches) flat surface made of grass, clay or concrete. A net runs parallel with the baselines across the width of the court, dividing it into two equal sides. The net is 3 feet 6 inches high at the posts and 3 feet high in the center.

If you want to go and see Wimbledon, it’s harder than you might expect. The courts aren’t that big, and there are far more people who want to go than there are seats available, especially for the singles events - tickets for the final, needless to say, are like gold dust.
